Blue Ox Pub Friday Night Jam Fun Time at the Blue Ox Jam in Lumby Dec 17.
Rene from Mirage cancelled at the last minute so unfortunately there was no recording.

The Middle Shuswap Wild Salmon Society and Mirage Recordings started recording at The Blue Ox Friday Dec 10.
Only the first acts got recorded as a cable had gone bad and was hard to find.
Christine and the Mabel Lickers started off and then some new local young talent, Avery, Connor and Jimmy from Gallons Corner got up and played some tunes for the first time at the Ox.
The Rippin Rattlers and Crossfire also got up as bands to play to the full house.
Several other jammers including Gary Nichols and Nenari also got into the action.

The bad cable was found and has been replaced and another session of recordings will be held Friday December17th at the Blue Ox Pub in Lumby.

The BLUE OX FRIDAY NIGHT JAM
Inspiring local artists to sing their songs and play their licks

A very fun, entertaining Jam this was. Great mix of musicians and music.

Dinner music started at 7:30 with a solo performance by Kianna
Then the Mabel Lickers played a dinner set with her till 9.
The Jam began with many old friends Darren, Ben, Charlie, Woody, Carmen, Sean, Chris and then.....

Perry Hooper makes a first appearance on Bass.
He announces that his band, the Rippin Rattlers, will be in to the jam Dec 10 to entertain and record a few tunes!
They will also be at the Rams Horn Pub in Lumby Dec 11 for a one night rockin stand!

CrossFire will be in next week to record as well and of course the house band "The Mabel Lickers " will be laying down some new original tunes.

A good chance some new talent from Cherryville will be showing up as well as several others.

Tell your friends to come down and make some good noise for the multi track recording.

A compilation music album is expected to be on sale early 2011 as a fundraiser for the Middle Shuswap Wild Salmon Society.

Special thanks to Rene from Mirage Recordings of Lumby for donating his time and equipt for the event.
